JDI Engineering is a locally owned company operated by Jim Koukas, Iain McDonald and Dusty Eden.  Jim, Iain and Dusty have many years experience in design, manufacture, fabrication and servicing/maintenance. Our specialist design and engineering knowledge allow us to offer you a wide range of services including fabrication, machining, breakdown and prevenetative maintenance work.

We employ a team of highly skilled tradespeople including fitters, welding specialists, boilermakers and machinists that all bring to the company expert knowledge of these fields.   The team has a commitment to safety whilst delivery a quality project within the scheduled time frame.

Jim Koukas
Managing Director

25 years industry experience and a strict hands-on approach means Jim oversees and evaluates all projects. Jim has personally dealt with the servicing of machinery for Olex Cables for over 15 years whilst employed by other companies. As well as Olex, Jim's clientel includes Toyota, Amcor, GM Holden, Orica Chloralkali and Interfert.

Iain McDonald
Maintenance Manager

Iain also has 25 years industry experience as a maintenance manager and is a contract supervisor at Olex Cables assisting the Olex engineering team in the maintenance department. Previous to Iain's role at Olex, he supervised a maintenance team for Boral Plasterboard, Boral Bricks, Keilor Cemetery, Ceva Logistics and Orica Australia.
